The waiting area is actually nice with different clean seating areas available as well as drinks and snacks. In the past, I lived in Austin so I've been to 2 other Toyota service departments and I hated each one. They were dirty and had horrible customer service. If I move, I will definitely consider it worth the drive to go back to San Marcos for all my service needs. ”

After visiting multiple dealerships on Saturday from Austin to New Braunfels, we stopped in at San Marcos Toyota to check out a couple of used vehicles for one of my daughters. Jakob (Campbell?) greeted us professionally and listened to what we were looking for. We drove a 2020 Nissan Rogue that checked all the boxes - price, milage, condition, features, etc. We decided to buy it and started the sales paperwork. Jakob was essentially the middle-man between us and the dealership and again listened to what we needed in structuring the deal. They are a very busy dealership so the "financing" took much longer than we expected but was still a very simple process with little to no pressure. All in all, I would highly recommend Jakob and San Marcos Toyota if you are looking for a new or used vehicle. He treated my daughter with respect and that goes a long way in my book.
